I have had Mother Nature barge in a few times since we spent a few years helping out at the monthly hotel take overs....Still go and socialize and have a good time. Our personal preference would be to bow out or not play. We would not play with a woman on her period. Its a personal thing for each party involved, but like everything else in this lifestyle those boundries must be respected.

There are also certain illnesses that can be passed more so when a woman has her period. That is another factor that I take into consideration and hesitate to play during their cycle.

Our very first swinging encounter was invaded by "Aunt Flo" We all knew she was visiting me and had plans to ONLY socialize but the motel room and alcohol (Moonshine) altered our judgement.

It was an extremely bad experience that Tony and I carried for the first year in the lifestyle, we almost left swinging in our past, after that one bad experience. If only I knew then what I know now!!!

I prefer not to play at that time because I am physically uncomfortable, but the changes have started and I can go for 3 months without one. Of course there are the times when it shows up every two weeks. They say if you go 6 months without one then you're probably done with it, right now I'm going month #3 without. Keeping my fingers crossed! Won't keep my legs crossed tho, can't have any fun that way !

We have had that problem. If it shows up we just simply put a call out and explain the situation and set another date up in hopes that it doesn't happen. I have had a tubal and there are times I have 2 in a month. I now try to keep track of it and count 28 days ahead and have an idea when it will be comming and usually don't schedule anything the week it's supposed to come. When it comes to the spouse and I playing together Well there a shower right in the bathroom.

I have had to many bad experiences with "Aunt Flo." Met a lady several years ago and when we got really into the sex with a lot of oral involved is when it showed up. It was not all that bad to start. She agreed to more intercourse but then she started having a heavier flow. That was when we both called it off. I got married a couple years later to a woman who's periods were so heavy that it was just to messy. She had bad cramp and just was not in the mood during her time.
Tbird1979 is right. Hysterectomy did make things better at first but for some reason she last all interest in sex after a few months. Never did find out why.

I had my hysterectomy about 10 years ago before I was in the life style thank god for that,and like c/o said we make other plans if female has a unfriendly visiter

The reason is Coffee, Is with Hysterectomy I lost both ovaries,which influences the hormones that induce sexual interest, when those are gone then we rely on HRT (hormone replacement therapy)Those are known to have some serious side effects,but also do replenish some of the lost interest by balancing the hormones,It's very complicated,but all in all,,A hysterectomy corrects one medical problem ,but also can cause additional ones,, lost sexual interest if the ovaries are lost,,I am on two hormones one for control of the menopause type issues,,the other to encourage the interest of sex,I have been on this therapy for 10 years and so far works well for me,,Im waiting on the female Viagra and once approved ,I'l have it always handy,,Just an answer to your question,,,
