No, swinging is swinging and that's it, if there are underlying emotions as you are swinging, they need to be addressed as soon as possible. Making love only occurs together with my partner and anyone we bring in together. (which that would only be one person... and Todd you know who I mean ;) )
I think if one partner is confusing making love and having sex, there will be some sort of repercussions within the relationship.

Making love should be for your life partner(whoever that is). Swinging is having good ol fashion romp. Now that doesnt mean you cant care about the people you play with, but we believe you have to be responsible enough to know the difference between sex and love. We would find it impossible to have sex with anyone we didnt like or care for, if we just dont like you, or havnt got any interest in you, even at a party, we aint gonna fuck you. |

We deffinately keep love making and swining sex separated - so much so, that when swinging, we dont use the usual terms of endearment or say that we love each other. Furthermore, after each experience we re-bond on an emotional level and put the event in a "couple shared experience" - so works for us. |

I think "making love" is a state of mind that is an implied connecting with the soul. I can make passionate love to a pussy, breast, neck or ear but still remain disconnected/detached from a person's soul. So when I do make love, I make love to that area of the body that aches to be turned on and fondled. |

For us there is a major difference, we make love to each other only. When we play with others it's just hard, hot fucking. It's not that we don't care about or like the people with but there is a much deeper and emotional connection to making love. For us they must be kept seperate. Mary and Dave |

We agree..I love seeing Susie getting pleasured and having her world rocked by our playmates..and even if its just the "play chat" we have while texting in our daily lives. We only make love with each other, Albeit we do wish to hav a comfortable bond with who we swing with, we definitely know what an FWB is. We are finding that we communicate better now since joining the site and that is causing more passionate sex now, as odd as that may sound. We were passionate before, but it is different now. |

Maybe the passion is that now you can openly explore and be secure with expressing thoughts and desires in a new format. Most of us (I think) were not talk sex and came from generations that did not promote open swinging relationships and such... so learning and becoming comfortable is a turn on.
