Question:

How do you get started safely?

Am newbie and single. Not sure how to go about meeting interested person or parties or safety measures to take. I am assuming that meeting face to face in a public place is first step (after chatting, of course). Then I would guess chemistry would be the deciding factor as to what course of action to take next(?). I have so many questions (am a little cautious at first) and dont know who to ask or who would guide me carefully, gently, and honestly. Am not only looking for sex with fwb but also some good friends.

Everyone proceeds differently based on what they are looking for as well as their comfort levels.

have met many hot guys but didnt want to rush into something without a little caution (and safety). being single and venturing alone can be a bit scarey.

Hi Janet. I am not a single female, But one rule that I had was not to bring people to my house for first meetings. I know this sounds funny coming from a man. But I always met in public and used motels until I knew it was ok to bring them home. You are a beautiful woman. You should have no problems finding people to play with. Good luck.

As a former single swinger I had never had any issues with anyone whom I had met here in ST. It sounds like you have a few good ideas already with meeting in a public place and chatting first those are great first steps. For me, I found that finding contacts on here safer than anywhere else. I also never went to a swinger party unescorted, so I always had someone to watch my back. Once you find one group or party it will become easier for you to meet people! Another great safely measure I used to use is have a friend call you 1/2 hour into the meeting time to see how things are going.

Sharon & Todd, thanks so much for such excellent advice. After dating online for over 2 years, I know the drill about letting my loved ones know where to find me but am in a pickle with this situation. My family does not know about this side of me so I dont have someone to check up on me when I begin to venture out. I dont know who I can trust or who would understand and not judge. So far I have met some very nice folks (after only a couple of days!) but do know that I still need to be cautious until am comfortable. I will take it slow. Thanks again for the friendly advice.

Yes, Janet, take it slow and easy. From what ive read from Sharon and Todd, Gin, Shirley and Tatorhead..LOL!, they will not steer you wrong. We will be happy to help you as well as best we can also. Make friends first here and just take your time on the actual sex part. Safety is a high priority with alot of us here at ST. janet have every tried contacting another single lady from this site that is close to you and maybe try to set a up a double date with them so that you are not going out on your own not sure if it will work but who knows there might be others that are in the same situation and not sure where to turn to either.just be careful no matter what you do and do not be affraid to ask questions.

What if your a single man, such as myself interested? How do I proceed? Caution? I am a little scared and will be the first to say having never expierenced 3somes, I would eventually like to. Any help would be helpful.
