All this talk lately about infidelity
I was just curious, with the latest gossip about affairs and infidelity in the media.... do you think people make it much of a big deal? do you think it should be broadcast as much as it is.... I feel back for the helpless victims in this latest case, the kids. Now it seems a couple cannot even keep their intimate and private issues quiet, there is always someone trying to make a buck!
Guess I'm lucky I am not famous otherwise ya'll would know me even better than I do myself lmao

If you choose a public life which brings you fame and fortune you need to be prepared to walk a straight and narrow path in life. They all did the deed, Now they are paying the piper. I think todays star are nothing but pansies anyways. I think they need to grow a bigger set of balls and face it with dignity and be honest about it instead of liars. Just my take on the subject. |

Honesty, as far as the people in public view, be it sports or broadcaster, or even a movie star, or our President..in my opinion, you should be honest..That's what is wrong with this country!! Too many dishonest people out there!!...Look at the Clinton affair...my God, he was our President !! Ok, sorry, Sharon, I sounded off, just had to vent!!
If you are talking about the Tiger Wood's scandal, I am not sure on that one....fingers always point, don't they? lol

yeah I was basically suggesting the Tiger Woods incident but these days there are so many of them I can't really keep track.
I know they are famous Todd.... but do they deserved to be tossed out to the wolves? Sometimes I just think the media needs to keep the hell out of family business!

Hey, He could not keep it in his pants. He chose that life. He has to live it. Now if he chose to be a playboy and be single then no one wood care what he did. They all made their beds so they need to deal with it. |

Yes Todd, they are famous and everything they do is subject to public scrutiny.
I don't think it's right tho...
These people chose a life to entertain and further their craft. Pansies...Maybe some, but for the most part, in this age of instant media, I don't think it's anyone's business what color the turd they crapped was or who they decided to put their dick in.. That is between that person and their spouse.
Just because they came into our homes(invited, you can always shut them off) on a tv screen and made us laugh or cry , or rail at the injustice, does that really give the public the right to pick their lives apart? Go through their underwear drawer so to speak.
I don't think it does.
That is their job and when they go home, they should be able to walk around naked in their living room, with the press commenting on the mole on their ass.

In my opinion,if we allow and accept the press blasting everything about actors/acresses,musicians,political figures,etc.all over the world...then we have absolutely no right what so ever to use the phrase "INVASION OF PRIVACY" when it comes to our lives.As long as what they do(an alleged affair) doesn't affect me and mine,I don't give a rats ass what they do.I have enough on my plate as it is thank you very much.With this Tiger Woods thing,now the general public will dictate to him(and those involved)what to do and how to live...SOUND FAMILIAR...aren't they trying to do the same thing to swingers,gays,lesbians,etc?I won't say "let he who is w/o sin cast the first stone"...but I will say..."skeletons in the closet"...who doesn't have em?
Do you want your life under a microscope? I don't.If they want to know about my private life,I got 3 words for em..."GO TO HELL" !!!!!
And if they'd like a private tour...OK,just call ahead and make an appt.

Karen. I do shut them off. I don't give a rats ass what these morons do with their lives. They are all spoiled little punks to me flaunting their money. So when they do something to embarrass themselves in public I could care less what the press says about them. I look at it this way. If I did something to draw the presses attention to me. I would have to deal with it in the same way. It is just a fact of life. If these people did not want the scrutiny of public life then they should of chose to remain annonymous. But what do I know. I'm just some poor Bastard who can't afford to pay my bills rite now because everybody is sucking the life and blood out of me. And believe me. I do not by the products that these people endorse. Just my rant for this mourning. |

Russ. When was the last time you had to lie about your life or something you did with it. Everyday people are mostly honest about who they are and what they do, I do not hide who I am and I do not believe you do either. If he had been honest the first time this came out it would had just been some little blurb in the paper and that would have been it, People would have moved on to something else. It is the same with all these pollitians. |

Life is complicated enough without bringing more trouble cuz of lies...therefore,I don't lie.I'd much rather hurt someones feelings a little now than to make it worse by lying to them and the truth come out later.
For the skeptics out there,I didn't say I never told a lie...only that I've learned from past lies never to travel that road again.
If someone asks me a question and I don't believe they will like my answer,I will give them just 1 chance to walk away from the question by asking them if they are sure they want to hear my answer...after that,if they don't like my answer,that's not my problem,I gave them a chance to walk away,but they didn't,so if there is a problem,It's theirs not mine.Then again,that's just me.I've never been politically correct,and I never will be.I do understand your point though.

If you live in the glass house you have to walk the walk of your talk. We let to many make money off of use that talk one way an walk another.I can live with those that walk the talk not just talk it.We need to hold all to that standerd |

Well put Russ. Honesty most always is the best policy. I know sometimes it is not always feasable. But that should be in the worst case sinarial.(Not sure if I spelled that word Rite). But I to sometimes piss people off with being straight foward. But I always listen to them also. That is the beauty if it all. |

This world has such a hang up on sex. You can have a senator that has done great things for 20 years.....has an affair and they want him/her kicked out of office? Does screwing someone change who you are? Thomas Jefferson, one of our leading founding fathers, used to have sex with his slaves.....what would we think about him today? Sex is sex...a physical act between two or more consenting adults. The press just needs to let it go. |
